Electronics Training for Field Service Technicians
Troubleshooting techniques for experienced technicians.
Quick, efficient on-site troubleshooting is crucial to retaining customers and giving them the service they deserve. Not for beginners, the Electronics Training for Field Service Technicians program offers experienced field service technicians advanced technical concepts and skills techniques to troubleshoot electronic circuits, microprocessors and control systems.
Make sure interested employees complete both the Field Service Technician Core Training program and the Basic Electrical Training program before starting the electronics training. Those who successfully complete the Electronics Training for Field Service Technicians program can be expected to:
- Discuss the operation of basic electronic circuits including power supplies, amplifiers, oscillators, detection circuits, switching circuits, pulse circuits and logic circuits.
- Demonstrate how to narrow a difficult problem in a piece of electronic equipment to a section, then to a stage, then to a circuit, and finally to the faulty circuit.
- Show how to use triggered oscilloscopes, DVMs, time / frequency meters, logic probes, and precision test equipment to locate faults and determine proper performance in industrial electronic systems.
You can work with your Training Consultant to devise an individualized program or follow the complete Electronics Training for Field Service Technicians course list below.
